On July 19, 2015, near Goteborg Sweden, the ship collided with the oil tanker Ternvind. The ferry sustained major damage (a hole in the hull). It started to take on water but managed to arrive in Port Goteborg under its own power.

The cargo ship was carrying ~12,000 tons of fuel (petroleum and diesel). No injuries were reported. The tanker ship sustained forepeak damage. It turned back towards Goteborg and anchored in the open sea for hull inspection.

On January 23, 1998, near Gothenburg Sweden, the ship collided with the chemical tanker Brevik.
