MS Excellence Royal cabins review
MS Excellence Royal ship has a total of 72 staterooms, most of which are French Balcony. All staterooms offer as standard amenities a wall-mounted HDTV (satellite reception, ship info channel, real-time bow camera views), phone, wardrobe, electronic safe box (in the closet), minibar (refrigerator), double bed (convertible to twins), bedside tables (2-drawer) with reading lamps, writing desk (mirrored vanity table) with padded stool, bottled water, en-suite bathroom (single-sink vanity, under-sink storage, WC-toilet, glass shower, magnifying mirror, hairdryer, towels), individually controllable air-conditioning.
Most cabins on decks 2-Middle and 3-Upper are equally sized (16 m2 / 170 ft2), and all fitted with a seating area (round-shaped table with two armchairs) and French Balcony (accessed via sliding glass door / floor-ceiling window opening to a railing). Mini-Suites are French Balcony cabins sized 17 m2 (180 ft2). Suite perks include a DVD player and premium bathrobes, welcome aboard gifts (sparkling wine and fruits upon arrival). Excellence Royal features one Grandlit Cabin sized 14 m2 (150 ft2) that has a double bed (non-convertible to twins) and an angle sofa.
Main Deck cabins are sized 13 m2 (140 ft2), with two single beds (convertible to double) and two non-opening windows (located near the ceiling).
The Excellence ship Royal has two handicap cabins (wheelchair-accessible Middle Deck Suites) adapted for passengers with reduced mobility. Both disabled cabins (201-202) are conveniently located near the Elevator.
