Each of these suites features 2 lower single beds (convertible to a Queen / double bed), large windows (no private veranda), larger bathroom (WC, shower, single-sink vanity), writing desk with chair, ample storage space, plus additional sofa bed (convertible sofa) to accommodate a 3rd passenger. Third person rates are 1/2 the double-occupancy rate.

CATEGORY 1 cabins are located on Main Deck (room numbers 301 to 306). Each of them features 2 lower single beds (convertible to a Queen / double bed), private bathroom (WC, shower, single-sink vanity), writing desk with chair, 2 porthole windows.

CATEGORY 2 cabins are located on Main Deck (room numbers 307 to 315). They offer the same amenities and have the same layout as CATEGORY 1 staterooms.

Only staterooms in these two categories (1 and 2) can be booked with single-occupancy rates, i.e. as "single cabins".

Connecting Cabins are pairs of 2 separate staterooms connected via internal doorway. On Main Deck, these are the pairs 312-314, 311-315, 306-308, and 305-307.

National Geographic Venture cabins review

The Lindblad ship National Geographic Venture has a total of 50 cabins. All are outside-facing staterooms ranging in size between 13 m2 / 135 ft2 (category 1) and 17 m2 / 185 ft2 (category 5 suite).

Of all staterooms 22 are with small balconies (accessed via floor-ceiling sliding doors). A total of 12 cabins (6 pairs) are interconnected (via internal doorways) and can be booked as "family cabins". All category 5 suites are triple-occupancy accommodations (3rd passenger sleeps on a convertible sofabed).

All staterooms are oceanview, featuring either 2 portholes (roundshaped windows / non-opening), 2 large windows (non-opening) or a private balcony. Each cabin has Wi-Fi Internet access and individual air conditioning (temperature control). Bathrooms are en-suite (private, WC-shower combination, single vanity sink), with modern design and stocked with hairdryer, herbal hair products and bath products (soap, shampoo, shower gel, lotion, Expedition Essential Kit).

Each cabin is fitted with power outlets and USB charging outlets (bedside), and has plenty of luggage storage space. Standard furniture include 2 bedside cabinets (radio, alarm clock), bedside reading lamps (wall-mounted), ceiling LED lighting, small writing desk, queen bed (some convertible to 2 twin beds).

All decks have elevator access and public restrooms.
