Review of Disney Magic deck 4 (Promenade-Shops)

Walt Disney Magic Theatre (3-decks high, capacity 977 seats, with a huge stage for live performances and shows, acrobatics, pyrotechnics, 3D movies, new Disney films premieres. The Broadway-caliber shows include "Tangled: The Musical," portraying the Disney animated story of Rapunzel, alongside character favorites Maximus and Flynn Rider. The other shows include "Disney Dreams, An Enchanted Classic" and "Twice Charmed: An Original Twist on the Cinderella Story". Favorites from "Beauty and the Beast", "Peter Pan", "The Little Mermaid", "The Lion King" and "Aladdin" are also featured. In addition to production shows, the theatre hosts special events like magic shows and Disney movies. Main events take place twice per night (at 7:00 and 9:00 p.m.).

Preludes Bar (a la carte pricing bar for snacks and drinks open during shows in the Magic’s theater. The two quick-service snack bars situated on both sides outside Walt Disney Theatre serve buttery popcorn buckets, chips, pretzels, cookies and candy along with bar drinks, coffee and bottled water during shows (all for an extra charge). Preludes operates between 5:30-9:00 pm)

Mickey’s Mates (retail shop for Disney brand merchandise- souvenirs, toys, clothes, towels, swimwear, etc)

Treasure Ketch (duty-free shop for jewelry, watches, gemstones, Disney logo clothes, perfumes)

Whitecaps (Disney logo cruise goods- including cosmetics and beauty products, also brand handbags and watches)

Mickey’s Mainsail (Disney merchandise shop)

Shutters Photo Studio & Shop (photo services, packages, accessories. It's open from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m. A studio for family portraits was added in 2018.)

D Lounge (family day bar and nightclub, games, dancing, shows, exhibitions, family-friendly activities; full bar service. The lounge is a hub for entertainment due to its central location, just above the atrium. Highlights include "Who Wants to Be a Mouseketeer" game show, various towel-folding and crafts classes, family karaoke. D Lounge does not have set hours, so guests have to check their Personal Navigator.)

Studio Sea (kids and families entertainment, stage, comfortable chairs, make-up mirrors, TVs, full bar)

Animator’s Palate Restaurant (471 seats aft Dining Room for a 4-course dinner with 2 open seatings- 5:30-6 pm and 8-8:30 pm; walls have sketches of Disney and Pixar movies; animator’s studio design, large flat TVs, the “Animation Magic” dinner show with “Drawn to Magic” entertainment on 7+ day cruises. Animator's Palate Restaurant starts out in stark black & white, but during the course of dinner, guests can see it changing slowly into a room full of color. Dinner shows are displayed via high-definition flat screens on the walls. Starters include sliced serrano ham, butternut squash soup, salmon tartare, while entrees include ginger-teriyaki dusted beef tenderloin on wasabi mashed potatoes and black bean chipotle cakes).
