Deck layout and review

Review of MS Nordnorge deck 7

  • The Panorama Lounge & Bar is named “Torghatten” – after a mountain on Torget island (Nordland, Norway) best known for the natural tunnel running through its center. The Lounge features comfortable seating area and 270-degree panoramic views from floor-ceiling windows.
  • The Observation Lounge & Bar is named “Vestfjorden” (meaning West Fjord) – after an arm of the Wijdefjorden fjord, which is located on the northern side of the Spitsbergen island (Svalbard, Norway).
  • Sun Deck is an open-air space with the ship’s best vantage points for guests to enjoy the Norwegian Arctic scenery views along the ms Nordnorge itinerary route. The top deck’s outdoor seating area has plenty of tables and chairs. This is also the place for the Hurtigruten Nordnorge’s special ceremony called “Arctic Circle baptism”, which includes a Neptune-costumed crewmember, ice-cold seawater, and a free shot – for warming up.
