NCL Encore is the world's third cruise ship (after NCL Joy and NCL Bliss) with a Ferrari-themed racetrack. The facility is built by RiMO Supply (RiMO Germany Group) and operated via partnership with Scuderia Ferrari Watches. This is also the first-ever Ferrari-branded Formula 1 race car track.

NCL Norwegian Encore cruise ship racetrack (Go-Karts Ferrari F1)

The 2-level track spans on 2 decks, offering incredible sea views at height of 60 m (200 ft). It has a capacity up to 10 racers at a time on electric go-karts (Ferrari branded).

Unlimited go-kart rides (weekly pass) costs USD 100 pp (offered on all 7-day cruise itineraries). Day passes cost USD 30 pp. A single run costs USD 10 pp. Unlimited pass passengers access the race track via separate (shorter) line.

Passengers booked in Concierge and The Haven staterooms enjoy complimentary rides with bookings. The used by RiMO technology ensures optimal usage under intensified UV conditions and saltwater exposure.

GoCars can reach speeds up to 40 mph (65 kph). In comparison to Norwegian Bliss, NCL Joy's racetrack is 40% smaller and has 8 turns (Bliss has 10). In comparison to Norwegian Joy, NCL Encore's racetrack is larger - extending 4 m (13 ft) off the ship's both sides. This upgraded version also has a covered open-air viewing area (in the center), from where passengers can measure go-karts speeds by tagging the passing race cars with a laser beam.

Race Track requirements include height limit (min 1,2 m / 48 inches, max 2 / 79 inches - NO AGE LIMIT), no flip-flops (shoes must cover the toes and ankle), no loose clothing, long hair must be tied back and hide inside the helmet. Consuming drugs and alcohol before driving is forbidden. The activity is not recommended for passengers suffering from CVD (cardiovascular disease), HTN (hypertension, aka high blood pressure), spinal injuries and also for pregnant women.
