Deck layout and review

Review of Paul Gauguin deck 3

  • Deck 3 layout starts with the ship’s medical facility (forward-portside location) Hospital and Pharmacy Room. The Med Center is operated by the ship’s licensed doctor and a nurse, which are on 24-hour call duty.
  • Staff and crew cabins are with starboard location.
  • Service Area, 2 elevators (midship)
  • Staircase access to the water-sports marina platform located aft on Deck 2.
  • Cabins from 302 to 328, all of which are portside category F Oceanview staterooms (each with 2 Porthole Windows).
  • The Watersports Marina on Deck 2 serves mainly the PG Cruises onboard scuba dining program. The program features SCUBA lessons (dive instructors on the ship) and PADI certification. Onboard diving lessons prices start from $95 pp. Swimming and snorkeling from the marina is not allowed. The Marina is retractable and used only when the Paul Gauguin ship is anchored and the sea is calm. The list of activities, beside diving, also includes the complimentary windsurfing, sea kayaking and water-skiing.
