Paul Gauguin deck 8 plan

Deck layout and review

Review of Paul Gauguin deck 8

  • Pool Deck 8 layout starts with cruise cabins from 801 to 818, of which 2x Grand Suites (category GS /bow location) and 16x Balcony staterooms (category B-Veranda /all forward). The two Grand Suites are named Paul Gauguin (GS-801) and Flora Tristan (GS-802).
  • The Pool area has 1 rectangular swimming pool and a large sunbathing area with limited shaded seating, but plenty of luxury sunloungers to enjoy the sun along the Paul Gauguin itinerary route.
  • Le Grill (mid-ship location) is an alternative/casual dining venue open for buffet-style breakfast (7-9:30 am) and lunch (12-2 pm). Its menu often is the same as the one at La Veranda. Here guests can also order fastfood, including burgers and hotdogs). In the evenings, the Le Grill restaurant transforms into Pacific Grill (reservations-only, with a Polynesian food menu).
  • La Palette Lounge & Bar (aft location) offers as entertainment live music performances nightly. The venue also has an outdoor seating area on its open-deck terrace.
