Review of Scenic Jewel deck 3 (Diamond-Lobby-Lounge)

Elevator (lobby / upper level 3 of 3). Diamond Deck is the ship’s Lobby Deck, where are located:

Reception Desk – provides 24-hour guest services (assistance, information on the daily scheduled activities, purser service, Cruise Director, Scenic Tours cruise shore excursions/Spa reservations).

Gift Shop sells mostly luxury jewelry and watches, along with Scenic Tours logo wear and local /itinerary-based merchandise (gifts, souvenirs).

In the lobby, there are also coffee corner and tea station (flanking the entrance, both are complimentary and 24-hour operational).

Panorama Lounge & Bar is the ship’s show lounge with floor-ceiling windows, large-screen TVs (also employed by the Scenic Jewel’s cruise director for lectures and presentations), grand piano (afternoon and evening performances by resident pianist/singer), comfortable seating (leather sofas/chairs). The daily program here has port talks, while in the evenings are presented crew show (talent show), folkloric show (by local musicians/dancers), themed dance parties. Panorama Lounge doubles as a Library (has wall shelves with books and tour guides).

Panorama Bar drinks are complimentary (incl specialty cocktails and coffees, fine wines, mocktails, martini of the day). The Bar has an Enomatic wine dispenser and professional espresso machine (both are free of charge).

River Cafe is waiter-served and offers early/late breakfasts, light snacks during the day (incl sandwiches, pastries, ice cream), light lunch menu (pasta, burgers, daily soup/salad). The Cafe has dedicated staff serving the River Terrace on the Sun Deck.

Panorama Deck is the ship’s forward-location Observation Lounge & Bar. This lounge has an indoor seating area (with a coffee bar) and a separate outdoor area with few tables and chairs.

Portobello’s Restaurant (capacity 25 seats) is the Italian gourmet cuisine restaurant (complimentary, dinner only, reservations recommended).

Diamond Deck cruise cabins from 301 to 337, all of which are suites in categories Balcony Suite (A, PA, and PP), 1x Junior Suite (category RJ-forward), 2x Royal Panorama Suites (aft-ship location, category RS) and 4x Royal Suite (categories RA and R /both mid-ship).
