Silver Cloud deck 9 plan (Observation-Sundeck)

Deck layout and review

Review of Silver Cloud deck 9 (Observation-Sundeck)

Tor's Observation Lounge was added in the place of the Fitness Center during Silver Cloud's drydock refurbishment in 2017 - before joining Silversea Expeditions' fleet. This is an indoor lounge with its own bar, floor-ceiling windows and comfortable seating - the perfect place to enjoy panoramic views during inclement weather.

Next to Tor's Observation Lounge are mounted the ship's Zodiacs. These are big-capacity inflatable boats used for passenger transportation (tendering), close-to-shore explorations and landings in remote locations. These boats facilitate passenger disembarkation on shore excursions in off-port destinations, such as islands, bays, shallow rivers, etc.

The midship open-floor deck plan allows an open view to the swimming pool on Lido Deck below. Also here (midship) is the Sun Deck - sunbathing area with padded premium teak loungers and some tables with chairs.

Aft is the ship's outdoor sports area, comprising of Power Walking / Jogging Track, Golf Cage, paddle tennis, golf putting green.

As top-deck, the Sun Deck’s open-air spaces provide the best vantage points for taking photos and enjoying the port- and sea views along the Silver Cloud itinerary route.
