Review of Silver Wind deck 4 (Restaurant-Cabins)

Infirmary/Medical Center is located on Deck 3. This is the ship’s hospital operated by resident doctors and nurses on 24-hour duty. Payments are made by the boarding pass (treatments are equivalent to a private doctor’s visit). General health insurance policies do not apply, so buying cruise health insurance is recommended.

With starboard views are the ship’s Internet Cafe (with 6 computers available for a nominal fee) and Library (which along with books also offers magazines, newspapers, DVDs, CDs).

The Restaurant is the ship’s open-seating dining room with top-quality gourmet cuisine. The multi-course gourmet dinner features mostly Mediterranean-themed meals, plus the always available standard menu and list of daily specials. All three meals – Breakfast (8-9:30 am), Lunch (12:30-2 pm) and Dinner (7:30-9:30 pm) are waiter-served and a la carte. Dinner reservations here are not required (anytime dining between 7 and 9:30 pm). Some of the dinner menu items are influenced by the current cruise itinerary (ports of call and destination).

Le Champagne (capacity 20 seats /starboard) is a French cuisine specialty restaurant (at surcharge PP, premium wines cost extra). It offers signature dishes by Relais Chateaux (chain of individually owned luxury hotels, restaurants and resorts). Le Champagne is dinner-only and reservations-only venue.

Cruise suites from 411 to 447, all of which are category VS – Vista Suite cabins (with windows, some with triple occupancy).

Laundrette is a self-serve laundry facility.
