Deck 7 layout starts with the Navigation Bridge. Windstar Star Pride ship has an “Open Bridge Policy”, which means guests can visit the open 24 hrs a day Bridge and see how the vessel operates. Next is the Radio Room (portside).
The Wellness Centre consists of Spa, Gym and Beauty Salon.
The Beauty Salon (portside) offers hair-, manicure/pedicure- and barber services.
The WindSpa (starboard) has 2 treatment rooms (massages, body treatments, acupuncture, aromatherapy, facials), Saunas and Steam Rooms (separate for men/women). WindSpa is operated by Steiner, and also serves the line’s “Spa Under the Stars” program – various spa treatments are offered out on deck.
The Fitness Center (portside) is relatively small in size, with floor-ceiling windows. It is equiped with free weights, 5 treadmills, elliptical machines. Various complimentary excercise classes (incl Fitness, Aerobics, Pilates, Yoga) are also offered. Personal training sessions costs extra.
Near the aft restaurant is the ship’s pool area with 1 rectangular swimming pool, sunbathing and shaded areas, 2 whirlpools on platforms. A 3rd whirlpool is located at the ship’s prow/bow on deck 5.
Twice per voyage, the pool deck area around the hot tubs hosts the line’s traditional “Deck Barbecue” parties. The whole area turns into an outdoor venue for dancing. The two whirlpools can be covered to form a stage for live band performances (tables and chairs being set up around the stage).
The “Candles Cafe & Veranda” restaurant is the smaller “dining room”. It offers buffet-style breakfast and lunch, plus a la carte menu for orders through the wait staff. The indoor area (called “Candles Cafe”) has floor-ceiling panoramic windows, but its seating capacity is small (only 8 tables). The outdoor seating area is called “Veranda” (terrace shaded by awnings). In bad weather, lunch is served at the AmphorA restaurant.Lunch buffet choices at the Veranda restaurant feature cold soups, salads, fresh fruits, smoothies, cheeses, omelet station, gourmet desserts, ice cream. Buffet breakfast choices include oatmeal, pancakes, bread pudding, French toast, pasta, stews, cold meats, vegetables.
In the evenings, the Veranda transformes into the “Candles Grill” – an al-fresco steakhouse with waiter service (reservations are required).
