Review of Thomson Dream deck 4 (Orion)

  • Orion Restaurant is the ship’s main dining room (open-seating) for buffet-style or waiter served Breakfast (8 – 10 am), Lunch (12 – 2 pm) and multi-course, waiter-served Dinner (6:15 – 10 pm). Meridian also hosts once per week the Captain’s Gala Reception & Gala Dinner (formal dress code events), which are with fixed dining times (early/late sittings) assigned upon arrival.
  • Kora La Restaurant is an Asian cuisine (Indian and Chinese) restaurant with a la carte menu for Lunch and Dinner (complimentary, reservations recommended).
  • Medical Centre is the ship’s hospital operated by resident doctors and nurses on 24-hour duty. Treatments are equivalent to a private doctor’s visit (payments by the boarding pass). General health insurance policies do not apply, so buying cruise health insurance is recommended.
  • Orion Deck cruise cabins from 4001 to 4033, of which Interior cabins (deck 4/5, 3 of them have fixed double bed), category Single Outside cabins, and Oceanview rooms (deck 4/5, beds convert to double).
