Review of ms Oosterdam deck 10 (Observation)

  • Crow’s Nest (270 seats observation lounge with panoramic windows, own bar, dance floor, dancing classes, daily trivia games, karaoke; becomes disco club at night)
  • Explorations Cafe (80 seats patisserie and specialty coffee bar), also serves as the Oosterdam ship’s Library (librarian services, guest lecturers, board games, puzzles, book discussions), and as the ship’s Online Centre (Internet computers room/by partnership with “The New York Times”)
  • Sliding Dome Cover (retractable glass roof over the Oosterdam’s Lido Pool area) with solar panels.
  • The Loft Lounge (teens-only club area for 13-17 yo, open 10am-12pm, breaks between 12-2pm and 6-8pm; capacity 32 teenagers. has Video Games Arcade, PlayStations, big TV screens, Tennis Tables; with complimentary supervised youth program, activities include teen disco, karaoke, movies, sport contests, themed parties)
  • Club HAL (kids lounge and play area with 2 separate rooms for children 3-7 yo and 8-12 yo, complimentary youth programming with supervised activities; open between 9am-11pm with some pauses, depending the Oosterdam ship location/at port or at sea; bookings required).
  • During the 2016 refurbishment, the sunbathing area (with loungers, tables and chars) was replaced by Observation Deck cruise cabins from VB10001 to VB10026, of which category Deluxe Verandah (VB) and K-Interior rooms (Large or Standard).
