Disney to Build Two New Ships

Disney Cruise Line, that first launched in 1998, announced plans to build two new cruise ships, scheduled for 2021 and 2023.

Disney has signed an agreement with Meyer Werft, Germany. The ships will be slightly bigger than the existing ships Disney Fantasy and Disney Dream. Each is currently planned to feature around 1,250 staterooms. The vessels names, design and itineraries are still to be developed.
