More exciting details emerged from Regent Seven Seas regarding the upcoming ship refurbishment planned for the top luxury Seven Seas Navigator. The all-inclusive luxury line unveiled the new look for Navigator in artistic renderings displaying the public spaces and suites that will be refurbished.
Regent confirmed that their current fleet will undergo a major US$125 million refurbishment over the next two years. The upgrade will start with the smallest, 490-passenger Seven Seas Navigator (Spring 2016). Seven Seas Voyager is next in late 2016, Seven Seas Mariner in 2017 spring.
The brand-new look of Seven Seas Navigator will be unveiled on April 13, 2016 when the ship sets sail on a 10-night cruise from Barcelona to Rome. The suites and public spaces to be refurbished will have the same elegant style and attention to detail that will be featured on Explorer. This will provide passengers with a consistent look and feel across all Regent ships.
There are numerous areas of Regent Navigator that will embody a totally new look, including:
- Suites: suite décor upgrades will include new cabinetry, furniture, carpet, colour scheme, curtains, bed linens, mattresses, bath towels, balcony furniture.
- Coffee Connection: a new coffee bar will be created in the place of the existing library.
- Library: a new library will be designed in the space of the Connoisseur Lounge.
- Pool Deck: new sun loungers are to be added.
A full refurbishment has been confirmed for the following areas, including new furniture, carpet, wall coverings and colour scheme: Galileo’s Lounge; Navigator Lounge; Compass Rose; La Veranda (Buffet and Dining Room); Card & Conference Room; Casino; Pool Bar.
