Cruise & Maritime Voyages (CMV) is all set for the spring departures of Astoria from Bristol port, following a winter docking period in Greece.
On March 11 (Friday), the 550-passenger ship sailed up to Avonmouth, England's south west.
Formerly Azores, the ship has been re-named in line with CMV’s smaller ship offering alongside Astor, and joins the company’s mid-size vessels Marco Polo, Magellan and, following the announcement earlier this week, Columbus.
The 16,144-ton Astoria starts cruising from Bristol, Avonmouth March 21 on a 7-night Scottish Islands and Emerald Isle voyage.
On March 28, Astoria sets off on a 15-night voyage down to Azores, Madeira and Portugal. Astoria will visit Leixoes, Lisbon, La Corunna and two popular islands in the Azores on the trip back to Bristol.
