WATCH: Refit of Norwegian Epic

Norwegian Cruise Line’s ship Norwegian Epic was at Damen Shiprepair (Brest France) from September 27 to October 17, 2015 for a wide-ranging scope of maintenance and refit works.

Time was of the essence with the project, as is usual with any cruise-related work, and a fast turnaround was required in order for the ship to be ready in time for the next passengers.

Launched in 2010, the mighty Norwegian Epic belongs to an unique vessel class and has no sisters by design. Norwegian Epic was the largest among the NCL ships until the arrival of the new Breakaway Plus class ships Norwegian Escape (2015) and Norwegian Bliss (scheduled for delivery 2017).
