Viking Sea, which is the second of 6 cruise ships that Viking Ocean Cruises ordered from Fincantieri, Italy was delivered at Ancona today. Just a day ago, Ancona shipyard floated out the next cruise ship, Viking Sky.

The 930-passenger 47,800 GT Viking Sea has all-veranda staterooms and was designed by seasoned naval engineers and architects. The interiors were created by Los Angeles-based Rottet Studios and London-based SMC Design. The look of the vessel is modern Scandinavian.

Viking Sea features two pools, including an infinity one in the stern, and a spa with sauna and snow grotto.

The cruise ship will be named in London, UK the first week of May. Viking Sea follows the handed over in 2015 Viking Star, built at Fincantieri Marghera.
