The NCL Norwegian Joy will debut as the first purpose-built liner of Norwegian Cruise Line for China, as well as the first in industry to debut a number of features.
Norwegian Joy will feature several ‘Firsts’ at sea. Ship’s accommodations will offer the first at-sea concierge level, with bigger balconies and dedicated concierge to make entertainment and dining reservations.
For recreation, Norwegian Joy will boast the first-ever at sea competitive racetrack - a 2-level go-kart track where passengers can race friends and family. The ship will also have 2 multi-story water slides, open-air laser tag course, hover craft bumper cars, and new Galaxy Pavilion - Norwegian’s first virtual-reality area. In “virtual reality by Oculus,” cruisers will be able to create and ride their own roller coaster.
