Crystal Reveals 2019 World Cruise, New Ocean Ships Pushed Back

Crystal Cruises continues to expand beyond ocean cruising and pushed back its ocean newbuilds, set to feature residences aboard, to 2019.

The 3 new cruise ships, originally slated for delivery in late 2018, will come in 2019, according to Crystal president and CEO Edie Rodriguez. These vessels will be polar class, with line's Crystal Residences - apartments for sale.

In a blog post Monday night, Rodriguez touted all of Crystal's upcoming offerings, as well as a World Cruise 2019 on Crystal Serenity.

The 84-night voyage will start in Los Angeles on January 14, 2019, and end in Monte Carlo. Port calls along the way include Hawaii, the South Pacific, Australia and New Zealand, Indian Ocean, South Africa, the Mediterranean. Safaris, treks through Madagascar and Australia's outback, VIP access to the Opera House in Sydney, are some of the experiences along the way. The 2019 world cruise is now open for booking.
