The new Ovation of the Seas already has a large animal sculpture on her upper decks. The large panda display is expected to bring awareness to the recent partnership of Royal Caribbean with World Wildlife Fund. The two pandas fit well with the planned sailings of Ovation of the Seas throughout Asia, soon vruising regularly from Tianjin, China.

Earlier Quantum Class Royal Caribbean ships feature similar animal sculptures. The class’ flagship, Quantum of the Seas, has the magenta polar bear Felicia, while Anthem of the Seas shelters Gigi, a large giraffe wearing a swimsuit and inter tube.

The newest ship for the line, Ovation of the Seas, joined the Royal Caribbean fleet earlier last week and is currently sailing from Southampton. The ship will set sail on a “Global Odyssey” on May 3, visiting ports across Europe, Persian Gulf and Asia while repositioning to Tianjin.
