Crystal Esprit Itineraries Canceled Due to Technical Upgrades

Crystal Cruises was forced to cancel several Crystal Esprit itineraries due to planned "technical upgrades" that took longer than originally expected.

The 62-passenger yacht, which actually is a 20-year-old vessel refurbishment, will have cancelled the following itineraries:

  • March 26 - April 3 - Aqaba to Limassol, Cyprus;
  • April 3 - April 10 - Limassol to Athens, Greece;
  • April 10 - April 17 - Athens to Dubrovnik, Croatia;
  • April 17 - April 24 - Dubrovnik to Venice, Italy.

Crystal Cruises confirmed that the voyages of Crystal Esprit will continue from April 24, with a 7-day cruise from Venice to Dubrovnik.

Passengers on the newest canceled April 17 trip will receive a full refund, reimbursement of nonrefundable travel expenses and airline fees, as well as the choice of a free future sailing on Crystal Esprit in 2016 or 2017 or a free voyage onboard Crystal Symphony from Venice to Athens departing April 17, 2016, plus a US$1,250 onboard credit per person.
