AIDAprima was welcomed at port of Southampton for the first time on April 27 (Wednesday) as part of a 4-day short cruise.

From May 3, the newest ship of AIDA Cruises will be visiting the UK port on Mondays as part of year-round 7-day cruises to Western European cities departing from Hamburg.

Highlights of AIDAprima include a climbing garden, the Beach Club under weather-independent transparent foil dome, Four Elements deck space with 2 water slides, and the new Mini Club that provides childcare for young kids starting from age of 6 months and older.

Amazing veranda staterooms, patio deck with panorama staterooms, lanai deck with infinity pools, numerous new dining venues, the 3,100 Organic Body & Soul Spa, glass elevators, and a skywalk, are just a few of the new offerings onboard the newly deleivered cruise ship.

AIDAprima will be the first to use LNG at berth in all her ports of call during city cruise itinerary. The initial permit procedures for ports of Southampton, Hamburg, Le Havre, Zeebrugge and Rotterdam are already underway.

LNG trucks will ensure supply of LNG to AIDAprima. The AIDA Cruises company reports it will start test operations in the first cruise ports within the coming weeks.
