The fourth ship of Viking Ocean Cruises, Viking Sun, will spend her maiden season sailing a 141-day world cruise visiting five continents – the first for the line.

Departing December 15, 2017 from Miami to London, the route will stop in 66 call ports, ranging from Cuba and Caribbean to the Middle East, Asia and Europe. 12 of the visits will be overnight in cities like Havana, Papeete, Shanghai, Auckland, Sydney, Singapore and Laem Chabang (Bangkok).

As with regular sailings of the line, each port stop will provide a free cruise shore excursion. World voyage passengers will be also pampered with business class air, Silver Spirits beverage package and wifi and gratuities included with fare.

Viking Sun will accommodate 930 passengers. The ship is slated for delivery late 2017. Prices for the world voyage start at US$44,999 per person.

Viking Sea, the second ship of Viking Ocean Cruises, will be christened on May 5 in Greenwich, England.
