Holland America offers value-added promotion

Holland America Line (HAL) is the latest cruise company to boast value-added extras such as shore excursions and specialty dining in a limited-time promotion.

The Anniversary Sale of the line, celebrating 142 years in cruise business, offers a shore excursion credit of up to $400 per cabin, a dining package, reduced or free fares for a 3rd and 4th guests in a stateroom, as well as 50% reduced deposits. 

Those who book a suite receive double shore excursion credit (up to $800 per cabin), a 100-min Internet package and $100 beverage card on soft and alcoholic drinks.

The deal is valid for booking an ocean-view or above stateroom by June 1 on a variety of voyages departing this summer through spring 2016.

Passengers who book a 7- to 10-day sailing receive a shore excursion credit of $100 per person ($200 per stateroom), while those on 11-day and longer voyages, or on “Land+Sea Journeys”, get a $200 per person ($400 per stateroom) shore excursion credit.

The dining package is good for two guests in a stateroom, and allows dining at both the Pinnacle Grill and the Italian Canaletto. Guests on Signature-class ms Eurodam and ms Nieuw Amsterdam also get a 3rd dinner at the Asian Tamarind.

The dining package and shore excursion credit are valid for the 1st and 2nd guests in the stateroom, while the 3rd and 4th guests qualify for special reduced or free fares. All booked HAL voyages are eligible for 50% reduced deposits.
