Sea Princess altered her course on Saturday (May 21), in order to avoid severe weather close to Western Australia, which prompted two itinerary changes on her current 104-night world cruise.

According to a Princess Cruises' statement, on Saturday the ship anchored in Esperance to allow the storm system pass before sailing. Sea Princess is scheduled to arrive in Fremantle today, May 24, a day later than planned. Due to the delay, she will skip a call at Colombo, Sri Lanka, which was on the original itinerary for May 30. Sea Princess will then spend ten days at sea as she continues on to Dubai, where is expected to arrive on June 4, as scheduled.

Travelers have been notified of the modifications. However, there has been no word yet about compensation for the missed port.
