Princess Americas Cruises 2017-2018 Include Sailings Through New Panama Canal Locks

Princess Cruises announced its Americas cruises Fall 2017 - 2018 include transitions through Panama Canal, also ports in Caribbean, Mexico, Hawaii and along California Coast. Itineraries range from 3 to 28 days and include 11 cruise vessels with 230 departures on over 30 unique itineraries to 70 destinations. 

The program's highlight are the 10-day cruises on Caribbean Princess through the new Panama Canal locks. Princess is the leading cruise line for Panama Canal transit voyages, taking more passengers through the Panama Canal than any other company, while providing the most cruise dates and itinerary options fall through spring on 4 vessels.

2017-2018 will be a maiden season for transiting the canal's new locks with Caribbean Princess. The ship will offer partial transits on 10-day cruises roundtrip from Fort Lauderdale

Island Princess, Pacific Princess and Coral Princess operate full transition through all 3 sets of old locks - Pedro Miguel, Miraflores and Gatun Locks. Coral Princess offers an extra day in Fuerte Amador for passengers to fully experience historic Panama City.
