Viking Mani, one of Viking Cruises' Longships, sustained minor damage after being hit by a cargo ship last week while sailing on Rhine River.

The accident took place on June 3, around 4 a.m. According to the line, the ship sustained minor damage to 3 passenger cabins, "but remained operable and was able to sail to Cologne, Germany for additional inspection." No injuries have been reported.

Passengers in the affected staterooms were relocated to different cabins because the ship was not sailing at full capacity, the company said. Viking Cruises has not yet announced what the impact of the accident will have on ship's next cruise but did say:

"Viking Mani will spend some time in dry dock for complete repairs and any guests impacted by this change will be notified directly by email."
