More Than 100,000 Passengers Visit Antwerp This Year

Antwerp has more than 600 rivership calls in 2016 and expects 25 from ocean-going ships. In total over 100,000 passengers will call on the Belgian city.

First-time visits are scheduled from Oceania CruisesMarina (June 17), Majestic International Cruises’ Ocean Majesty, Azamara Quest, Plantours’ Hamburg, Lindblad Expeditions’ National Geographic Orion, Phoenix Reisen’s Artania and The World. At the end of 2016, there will be a number of Christmas sailings.



The largest cruise ship coming to Antwerp will be Marina at 239 meters in length with Crystal Symphony a close 2nd at 238 meters.

Cruise ships calling July 7 to 10 will benefit from Tall Ships Races culminating in a fireworks display on River Scheldt.
