MSC Cruises announced that the name of the sister ship to MSC Seaside will be MSC Seaview when the newbuild launches in June 2018.

The second Seaside-class 5,179-passenger ship will be based in the Mediterranean, and will homeport in Barcelona, Genoa and Marseille. MSC has an option of a 3rd as-yet-unnamed vessel, which will debut in 2021.

MSC Seaside will be launched in December 2017 in Miami, where she will be homeport to offer Caribbean voyages.

The Seaside class ships feature a Miami beach condo concept. They will offer the highest ratio of outdoor space per passenger at sea. The extra outdoor space includes an increased number of balcony staterooms, a 360-degree promenade with glass balustrades wrapping around the entire ship and extra space to drink and eat.
