MSC Meraviglia Naming Ceremony Part of Le Havre Celebrations

Le Havre is preparing for celebrations spread across 5 months in summer 2017. The city will mark its 500th anniversary, finishing with an October 8 Final Party.

The former transatlantic terminal of the port city will be open throughout the festivities to serve as a bar and concert venue during the day and a club in the evening. The fish market, located at the heart of Saint-Francois district, will be transformed by designers.

Fort de Tourneville will offer a free concert program throughout 2017 summer together with workshops. The floating Zen Temple in the middle of La Barre Dock will welcome tourists who want to place a wish there.

The city will witness the naming ceremony of MSC Meraviglia on June 4. It will stage the final leg of Tall Ships Race from August 31 until September 3.
