VIDEO-Genting Dream float-out

Favorable weather conditions let Meyer Werft shipyard (Papenburg Germany) to float out the new Genting Dream on Friday, August 19, a day earlier than scheduled. The vessel is owned by the Asian luxury cruise line Dream Cruises.

The 151,300 GT newbuild is the first for Asia's Dream Cruises, new Genting Hong Kong premium brand, that emerged from covered building dock II of Papenburg yard.

Various tests and trials have still to be carried out, ahead of the ship's conveyance along Ems River, planned for mid-September.
