Antigua to Become Cruise Line Port

Antigua made a leap forward to becoming a homeport for cruise lines, as St Johns will be one of 4 homes for Pullmantur. From December, passengers can pick up their cruise from Antigua.

The new venture is an opportunity for Antiguans who don't have American Visa to board the cruise.

The move benefits cruise lines by creating a wider basket to increase Caribbean passengers.

Pullmantur will be serving 7 Eastern Caribbean islands (St Kitts, Dominica, Barbados, Martinique, Dominican Republic, St Maarten) and back to Antigua.

The cruise can also be picked up from St Maarten, the Dominica Republic or Barbados.
