The following thrilling time lapse videos show the piece by piece building of 167,600-GT, 1,033-ft long MSC Meraviglia.

The newest cruise ship of MSC company was built at STX France shipyard (Saint-Nazaire), the same shipyard where Harmony of the Seas was assembled.

MSC Meraviglia is part of MSC Cruises' ambitious US$10.2 billion investment program and is the first of 11 vessels coming into service between 2017-2026.

The Meraviglia, which in Italian translates to “wonder”, is sure to amaze with feature-filled decks and contemporary design. It is the largest ship ever constructed by a European-based cruise line capable to carry a total of 4,500 passengers.

MSC Meraviglia will start service in June of 2017. She will spend her first summer sailing in the Western Mediterranean.
