Royal Caribbean Boasts Revamped Agent Loyalty Scheme

Royal Caribbean revamped its agent loyalty scheme and added a new top tier for the best-performing agents.

The enhancements were unveiled at an event marking scheme’s 2nd birthday.

Club Royal, which has 10,470 members, previously had two levels, with 130 agents in the Gold tier and the rest in the Blue one.

The refreshed programme will feature a Platinum top tier that will be easier for agents to access.

The architect of Club Royal, Royal Caribbean sales director Ben Bouldin, said agents’ bookings would be valid for a year from when they joined the scheme, rather than being automatically reset on the Club Royal anniversary date.

Each agent’s balance will automatically reset each year, and a dashboard, showing how much more an agent needs to do to climb to the next tier, has been added.

Bouldin said the line’s best supporters would be able to strive for Platinum status, which will offer more cash per booking, a greater discount off Royal Caribbean holidays, and the opportunity to double their cash earnings per booking four times a year.

Previously, agents in the Gold tier earned £5 and £300 holiday cashback per booking, a £25 birthday bonus and two opportunities to boost their per booking earnings to £10 for two weeks each year.

Now, Platinum members will get £7.50 and £350 holiday cashback per booking, a £25 birthday bonus, and a chance to earn £15 a booking, four times a year.

Bouldin said:

“We want more agents in Gold and those already in Gold to strive to be in Platinum. All levels are realistic to achieve.”

Under the revamped scheme, 18 Gold members will automatically move up to the Platinum tier, while there will be 178 in Gold.
