Disney Introduces Marvel Day at Sea

Fans of super heroes, super villains and Marvel comics will be excited to hear that Disney Cruise Line announced a new Marvel Day at Sea. This special film themed day will take place in 2017 Autumn on Disney Magic sailings out of New York.

Disney Cruise Line’s Marvel Day at Sea will summon the Marvel universe and include all day entertainment such as interactions with the mighty Marvel Super Heroes and their foes, plus a themed deck party with lighting, sound effects and impressive pyrotechnics. Marvel fun youth activities and unique food and drink options will also be available, plus special Marvel merchandise. The Disney Magic cinema will be screening Marvel fan favourites and Disney XD shows: Marvel’s Avengers Assemble, Marvel’s Ultimate Spider-Man, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy.

Marvel Day at Sea

Young heroes-in-training will have the opportunity to enjoy age appropriate Marvel themed activities and arts and crafts fun in the Marvel Avengers Academy in the Oceaneer Club.

Disney Cruise Line sailings featuring a Marvel Day at Sea will be seven or eight nights long and sail the Bahamas on selected dates throughout October and November 2017. All cruises will also include a stop at Disney Cruise Line’s private island – Castaway Cay.

Previous Disney Cruise Line days at sea have included Disney’s Frozen and Disney’s Star Wars.
