Norwegian Epic with a Mediterranean Season in Barcelona

The largest ship of Norwegian Cruise Line arrived in Barcelona, Spain. Norwegian Epic will begin her summer season of 7-night Mediterranean sailings.

The Epic boasts a new entertainment lineup for her new homeport, debuting throughout 2015. A couple of new Broadway shows take the stage, coming in October: "Priscilla, Queen of the Desert  - The Musical" (opening on the October 18 voyage) and "Burn the Floor". "Burn the Floor" will introduce ballroom dancing to the ship with “Ballroom Blitz”, a new show specially designed for Europeans. 

Norwegian Epic will also feature a new British pop music experience, "The Cavern Club", which brings at sea the Liverpool venue where the Beatles performed.

Until November 22, Norwegian Epic will offer 7-night cruises from Rome and Barcelona to the Western Mediterranean, including port calls in Naples and Livorno, Italy; Palma, Spain and Cannes, France between May 3, 2015 and November 22. During the winter (November 29-April 7, 2016), Epic will sail alternate ten-night voyages to Morocco, Madeira, Málaga and the Canaries, and 10-12-night cruises to the Western Mediterranean with stops in Sardinia, Mallorca and Sicily.

In addition, Norwegian Epic will also offer two sailings in 2015 to and from Southampton, marking the first time the ship has visited the cruise port since the inaugural celebration June 2010. The 6-night sailing departs from Barcelona on September 20, and arrives in Southampton on September 26, with ports of call including Málaga and Cartagena, Spain and Lisbon, Portugal. 

Following a 3-week dry dock in France, on October 18, 2015 Epic will embark on a seven-night Iberian Peninsula voyage from Southampton to Barcelona and call at Vigo, Málaga and Cartagena, Spain and Lisbon, Portugal.

Norwegian Epic Christmas 2015 cruise is a 9-night Canary Islands and Morocco itinerary departing on December 19. The New Years 6-night voyage sets sail from Barcelona on December 28.
