Boston starts cruise season with Norwegian Dawn

Norwegian Dawn was the 1st cruise ship of 2015 to call in the city of Boston yestarday at Black Falcon cruise terminal, signalling the start to summer season.

The 2,224-guest vessel will carry Boston passengers to Bermuda for 7-day sailings through September 04, along with 3 additional cruises from October 9-23, 2015.

During the fall, NCL Norwegian Dawn will sail from Boston to Canada/New England.

A “Family Art Day” is planned for today (May 02) at Black Falcon Cruise Terminal. Kids aged 7 and up will be painting canvases for a patchwork quilt style to be displayed inside the renovated Terminal 2.

The event was stated to be Bermuda-themed and will honor the first cruise of ms Veendam for the season, from Boston to Bermuda.

115 cruise calls in Boston with 300,000 passengers are scheduled for 2015 season until November.
