Aqua Expeditions to Offer Two Female-Only Voyages 2017

In an effort to celebrate adventurous women and offer vacationers increasingly exclusive sailings, Aqua Expeditions, one of the leading luxury river cruise companies in the world, announced the addition of 2 female-only departures in 2017, aboard Aria Amazon and Aqua Mekong.

Ladies can choose to take part in the following women-centric trips:

  • January 17-20, 2017: a three-month cruise on the Aqua Mekong, departing from Phnom Penh, Cambodia and featuring a Khmer Apsara performance, a tour of the Vipassana Dhura Mandala meditation center, a bike ride through rice paddies, visits to the Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda and the National Museum of Cambodia and more.
  • March 20-24, 2017: a four-night cruise on the Aria Amazon, departing from Iquitos, Peru, which will include extensive wildlife viewing, immersive visits to local villages, fishing for piranhas, a visit to the Manatee Rescue Center and more.

Each departure will include: luxurious accommodations in custom-designed suites; five-star guest service; adventures including biking, hiking, wildlife viewing, cultural meet and greets, and more; educational learning experiences such as excursions into local riverside communities and fascinating guide presentations; culinary activities including chef-guided visits to local markets and cooking classes; and relaxation at the on board spas and plunge pools.
