AIDAdiva with a scrubber and new features after Blohm + Voss refurb

According to AIDA Cruises, after her scheduled stay at Blohm + Voss, April 21 - May 04, AIDAdiva emerged with new passenger features and a scrubber installation.

AIDAdiva is the 4th ship in AIDA fleet to be fitted with the 1st phase of a filter system for emissions' treatment.

More than thirty different cosmetic repairs and upgrades were carried out on board. Among those was the replacement of 12.000 sq.meters of carpeting.

A new highlight on AIDAdiva is the beach bar which was given a makeover. The line also added new shops to the ship. The golf area located on Deck 11 was redesigned.

Meanwhile the Body & Soul sports area received new cardio training equipment, and the Photo Store now boasts 11 digital photo stations. Due to the digitization, AIDA Cruises has reduced the chemicals and photo paper by 50%.

On May 04, at 8:00 p.m., AIDAdiva will set sail from Hamburg. Following a short trip visiting Copenhagen and Gothenburg, from May 12 the ship will begin regular 10-day voyages to the Baltic from Warnemunde.
