18 Cruise Ships Visit St Kitts This Week

Eighteen cruise ships with a total maximum capacity of over 46,000 passengers will call on Saint Kitts this week.

On Wednesday and Thursday 4 cruise ships visited the destination each day, with a combined maximum capacity of more than 20,000 passengers.

Docked at Port Zante cruise port and deep water port are Celebrity Eclipse, Norwegian Breakaway, Arcadia and Wind Surf.

On Thursday Norwegian Gem, Celebrity Summit, MSC Poesia and SeaDream I also called on St. Kitts.

Thursday’s visit was the inaugural call for MSC Poesia of MSC Cruises.

Cruise ships will make a total of 391 calls to St. Kitts in this cruise season, with 16 new ships arriving here for the very first time.

In 2015-2016 cruise season cruise ships made 373 calls to St. Kitts, bringing 913,716 passengers, which was the most ever in a cruise season. This 2016-2017 cruise season is expected to be another record breaking season with a projected arrival of 1,125,927 passengers.
