Royal Caribbean International plans a Suite Class package of amenities, scheduled to be rolled out sometime in 2016.
According to President Michael Bayley, the general idea was "to make it an all-inclusive product". He added that Royal Caribbean's Suite Class was intended for the high-value customers. The exact list of all-inclusive elements is still being determined.
Suite Class provides a benefits' tiered system. All passengers in Sky Suites and above are offered exclusive access to RCI Luminae restaurant. Those in Reflection, Penthouse, Royal, Signature and Celebrity suites have exclusive access to Michael’s Club. Originally, this lounge was a pub-style venue on Celebrity Cruises ships.
Celebrity guests in Reflection, Penthouse and Royal suites have complimentary benefits, including unlimited specialty dining, a premium beverage package, access to a mini-bar (stocked daily with beer, soda and water), and unlimited Internet access.
Guests who stay in senior-level suites on RCI ships already benefit from numerous privileges, including priority check-in, tender priority on select sailings, Concierge Club access, VIP pool deck seating, and private breakfast and lunch seating in Voyager- and Freedom-class ships' specialty restaurants.
