Disney Cruise Line is adding new experiences based on the “Frozen” hit movie. The beloved "Frozen" characters are brought to the high seas through a new themed deck party, debuting on select Disney Wonder and Disney Magic sailings to Alaska and Europe this summer.

Both ships will be transformed for a day into winter wonderland of Frozen themed entertainment. Anna, Elsa, Olaf and Kristoff will offer “character meet-and-greets”. Disney will organize a themed scavenger hunt, along with a snow & ice activity “Do You Want to Build a Snowman”, named after one of the “Frozen” key songs.

There will also be a themed dining inspired by the traditional Nordic cuisine. Families will have the chance to learn a traditional Scandinavian dance including braiding large ribbons on a Maypole. Outside, evening fun will go on with a deck party featuring icy decor (icicles, snowflakes and snow-covered rocks), games and dancing, as well as themed “Frozen” drinks for the adults.

A new production show inspired by the movie is also planned for Disney Magic. It will feature songs from the movie - “For the First Time in Forever”, “In Summer” and “Let it Go”, along with film’s characters in a new adventure.

Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy will also benefit from the “character meet-and-greets” with Olaf, Anna and Elsa. The private island of Disney Cruise Line, Castaway Cay, will also experience the “Frozen” theme by adding “Olaf’s Summertime Freeze Bar” that is expected to serve non-alcoholic frozen specialties in souvenir cups.

Two 12-night cruises on-board Disney Magic ship will sail to the Baltic region from Dover during July this year. There will be a selection of shore excursions linking the region to the film. On 3 August, following a repositioning to Barcelona, several 7-night Mediterranean voyages will be offered.
