153 cruise ships are anticipated to call at Port of La Spezia 2017, bringing a total of 520,000 passengers. These numbers compare well to the figures achieved in 2016. The most popular shore trip from La Spezia is to Florence, Pisa and Cinque Terre.

In late 2015 a new cruise terminal, Golfo dei Poeti – Cinque Terre Cruise Terminal Port of La Spezia, opened: with an internal surface of about 1,500m2 it can accommodate passengers in transit and for boarding, offering wide spaces for the operations and logistics.
