Lindblad Expeditions-National Geographic revealed it had chosen a name for its new 100-passenger cruise ship being currently built and scheduled for delivery in June 2018.
The newbuild will be named National Geographic Venture.
It will join National Geographic Quest, sister ship scheduled for delivery in June 2017.
Both ships will feature 22 staterooms with step-out balconies, and 6 sets of connecting rooms suitable for families and groups.
The new vessels will be outfitted with snorkeling equipment, Zodiacs, paddle boards and a fleet of 24 sea kayaks.
They are being constructed by Nichols Brothers Boat Builders, located north of Seattle.
