Cruise-Ship Crash Captured in Timaru: VIDEO

A woman managed to film a dramatic moment when luxury Seabourn Encore collided with another ship, Milburn Carrier II, in port of Timaru, New Zealand.

Both ships reportedly sustained damage and an inquiry has been launched by New Zealand Transport Accident Commission.

None of the passengers and crew on board were injured.

The cruise vessel collided in Timaru NZ on February 11, 2017 Sunday morning). A witness said the wind strengthened and up to 4 of Encore's mooring lines broke - resulting in collision with another vessel nearby.

A 2-week cruise on Seabourn Encore costs around USD 40,000 pp. The ship's capacity is 604 passengers.
