Australian cruisers now benefit from more options than ever before after Princess Cruises announced it would sail its 1st circumnavigation of South America from Australia.

The 84-night voyage will begin in 2017. Guests on board Sea Princess will visit 28 call ports in 18 countries including Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador and Uruguay. Circle South America cruise departs Sydney on January 11, 2017. It will also be available from Brisbane and Auckland.

Stuart Allison, Princess vice president Australia & New Zealand, shared that he expected the voyage would be popular among Australian vacationers. Mr Allison said they were "spoilt for choice with the new itineraries" and added the program was packed with a record number of options which they thought would really appeal to Australians.

The cruise is the headline for Princess Cruises' 2016-2017 program which also features a sailing from England to Australia on Emerald Princess. The 2016-2017 Australia & New Zealand program offers voyages from Auckland, Brisbane, Fremantle, Melbourne and Sydney across five ships. Travelers have the option of choosing between 120 itineraries across 39 countries, with 23 new ports in Australia.
