Passenger Airlifted Off Cruise Ship After Breaking Both Legs

A woman who fell and broke both her legs had to be winched off P&O Australia ship in Queensland’s Moreton Bay yesterday morning.

The 66-year-old woman was onboard Pacific Jewel when she slipped and fell, suffering hip injuries. The lady had to be wheeled out of the stateroom on a stretcher and was assessed onboard by paramedics. She was winched to safety and transported to Brisbane’s Princess Alexandra Hospital for treatment.
