Star Cruises offers Southern Hemisphere voyage

Star Cruises announced a 48-day crossing of the equator from November 13 to December 31, 2015 to explore the Southern Hemisphere aboard the 1,870-passenger Superstar Virgo.

The line will visit Australia for the first time in a decade. The itinerary includes calls at over 20 ports in Australia, China, Hong Kong, Cambodia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia and Indonesia. SuperStar Virgo will call at 5 Australian states, as well as Bangkok, Bali, Ho Chi Minh City, Jakarta and Singapore.

Segments are also on offer, such as to Fremantle via Hong Kong and Singapore, or a local sailing from Western Australia to Adelaide, Melbourne, Tasmania and Sydney.

According to Star Cruises, the experience on board Superstar Virgo will be as memorable as the shore excursions. The line said there would be an extensive selection of newly upgraded lifestyle, retail and dining facilities, including 13 restaurants and bars serving Western, Japanese, Chinese, Indian, Italian and International cuisine and beverages. Accommodations range from insides to premium suites.
